I also think it would be the better way to offer your work and let the customer send you his own helmet.
With selling pimped up helmets you always will face the problem that it will be the wrong helmet or the wrong size.
Also it would offer the opportunity to customize already used helmets.

Of course you still can try to sell new helmets in addition to complete your service.

Got the helmet, i am happy, good work, i like it. We will see how long the clear coat sticks.
