A little overweight, in my opinion. Why not put the ammeter in the headlight shell and the ignition switch elsewhere on the bike? The speedo on a nice small bracket and done. Or, if you want to, you could put a rev counter there.

Andreas was a little bit faster. My opinion is the same. It´s too massy. :wink:

...The ignition Switch I woul put below the tank.

What is the high of the speedometer? I Think, it´s not more then 25 - 30mm. May be you´ll get inspiration with these pictures. :wink:

Moin,

it looks very good, only the screw that hold the ignition lock doesn`t match with the rest.

I wanted to put a tachometer there, But I could not find a rev counter for one cylinder engine

The screw is old, I will polish it and add a black pad, the diameter of the ammeter disc

Matching your speedo:

Fitting it to the Bullet may require a bit of work, but It can be done. An alternative would be an electronic one.

@Sven: What do you want with such a modern instrument at this bike?

@Andreas: .daumen-h1:

...I would take the both Smith-Style instruments. For the housing I woul take a aluminium-tube with 1 or 1,5 mm wall-thickness.

If you take a close look at this Royal Enfield Fury 500 Cafe Racer, you can see how the fitting of the tacho is done on the Bullet engine:

Fury

You'd have to fit an angle drive to the right hand cover and connect it to the ignition shaft.
